Lake Carl Blackwell
Lake Carl Blackwell is a water supply and recreation lake located inthe counties of Payne and Noble. The area includes 3,350 lake acres as well as an 800 acre recreation area owned and operated by Oklahoma State Univeristy. Fishing, boating, skiing, personal watercraft and sailing are permitted on the lake. Campgrounds (185 RV spots) and picnic areas are available year round. Nineteen cabins are available in the summer months. Swimming is permitted all around the lake, although there are two sites with buoys. Hiking and horseback riding trails also on site.
