Chickasaw National Recreation Area Sulphur, OK. Rock Creek Multi-use Trail. Hwy 7 in Sulphur take 12 St. South to the recreation area. Turn right on first road. No equestrian Camp ground. Park officials may arrange overnight for groups. (580)622-3161

Lake Murray State Park, Ardmore They have a barn to stable the horses. There are electric and water hook-ups. Bathrooms with showers and really nice trails. The only thing is the trails are not well marked. Also it is located in the field trial area. You need to call in advance to make sure they are not having field trial runs. ( 580) 223-4044
McGee Creek State Park N.E. of Atoka and N. of Farris OK off Hwy 3 Permit system, both full day and overnight available. Primitive campground near the entrance of the NSRA. (580) 889-5822
Robbers Cave State Park Wilburton, OK. Developed by OETRA members and maintained by them. This trail is located in the San Bois Mountains. Wildlife Management Area closed Oct 15-Dec 31 and wild turkey season. Portions of the trail are open all year. Campground, electricity, RV, picket posts, comfort station and pavilion. (918)465-2565

U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT EQUESTRIAN TRAILS
Eagle View Trail Kaw Lake, Eagle View Trail (multi-use) named for the bald eagles which winter there. Excellent view of these birds near the trail Nov-Feb. Prairie grasslands and oak-hickory forest. Camping in public use areas only. (580)762-5611
Platter-Lakeside Trail Lake Texoma, (multi-use) Primitive camping available at both ends of the trail. Can be accessed from either Platter or Lakeside Recreation Areas. (903)465-4990
Pushmataha Wildlife Management Area S.W. of Clayton, OK 2 1/2 miles. Primitive camping, street style signs at trail/road intersections. Equestrians welcome, some restrictions during hunting season could apply. (918)569-4329
Lexington Wildlife Management Area Lexington, OK. 9,432 acres located off Hwy 77 five miles south and six miles east of Noble, OK. Primitive camping available. No facilities except portapotty. Picnic area by Dahlgren Lake. Closed to horses Oct 1-Feb 15 and April 6-May 6 due to hunting seasons. (405)527-6476

Will Rogers Country Centennial Trail Oologah Lake oak-hickory forests and open meadows, experienced riders will enjoy the rugged trail segment which climbs Kite Hill. Abundant wildlife, trail is closed during deer gun season. (918)443-2250

Lake Carl Blackwell West of Stillwater, OK and East of 1-35 on 51, N. on 51C to Equestrian Camp. Primitive camping $4 per day. Ride fee $3 per day per horse. Wooded hills and open plains. CITY PARKS WITH EQUESTRIAN FACILITIES
Arcadia Lake Entrance off 33rd Street and I-35 go east until 33rd dead ends at Air Depot. Turn south -- road dead ends at Equestrian parking lot. No facilities. Ride fee $4.00 per day. Approximately 10 miles of trail. Yearly pass $20. Edmond residents receive 20% discount. Open dawn until dusk daily. Horse shoes not necessary since it is mostly sandy and very little rocks. Bell Cow Lake Chandler, OK Flat Rock Trail has 11.8 miles. Red Bud Trail has 25.4 miles. Large campground well maintained. Electricity, picket poles, rest rooms and showers, (closed in winter) primitive area for tent camping. Pavilions. Ride fee $2. Yearly pass also available. Link for more info: (405)258-3212
Duncan Lake Duncan OK, east on Plato to Duncan Lake Rd. Right sign saying Duncan Lake concessions. Electricity, water, picnic tables, showers and comfort stations. Lots of trails, easy access, some not wooded, well marked round the lake. (580)252-4591
Heyburn Lake Located off of I-44 by Kellyville, near the Tulsa area. More details to come. Camping available on private land.
Hugo Lake, Kiamichi Park Located in S.E. Oklahoma 5 miles east of Hugo on Hwy 70. Several thousand acres and miles of trails to explore from 1 March to Oct 1. Campground includes holding pens, water, electric, showers, swim beach and fishing and hunting opportunities. 580-326-3345

Prague Lake Recreational Area Prague, OK Boating, fishing, RV and primitive camping, picnic areas, and more than 25 miles of ATV, equestrian and hiking trails. Shoreline length: 11 miles. Directions: 7 miles N of I-40, 3 miles W on Highway 62, 2 miles N on Lake Road, 1 mile E Fee $2 per horse. (405)567-2805
Sportsman Lake Seminole, OK. 4 miles E. on Hwy 9 to FM360. 2 miles south to E.W. 124 then E to Equestrian turn-off. Approximately 20+ miles of trail. Wooded, rocks, hills, scenic area. Trail fee $2.50 per horse. 12 campsites with electricity and water-- $12.50 includes trail fee. First come first served. Horses should be shod.
Stroud Lake, Stroud OK Several miles of trails which wind around the lake. (approximately 15 miles) Easy riding; no shoes needed. Beautiful area. Great beach to swim at when you're done riding. Drive across lake dam for horse trails, or stop by the Lake Rangers trailer. Lake is North of Seminole. Easy access from Turner Turnpike.
Lake Oolagah Several miles of trail, camping, water, electric, showers The trail is called Will Rogers Centennial Trail. It is 13 miles in length.
Lake Texhoma More than 10 miles of trail, Primitive camping.
Lake Waurika Day ride only, several miles of trail.
Copan Lake Day ride only, several miles of trail.
