Consumer Protection The Consumer Protection Division is responsible for licensing, monitoring and inspecting hotels and motels, eating and drinking establishments, retail and wholesale food outlets, food manufacturers, public bathing places, city and county jails and all sources of ionizing radiation. The Consumer Protection Division also administers statewide programs for bedding, general occupational health and product safety.
Health Statistics The Mission of Public Health Statistics Division is to develop, maintain and operate an accurate and timely computerized database of information derived from birth, death and fetal death registration records. This includes the coding, tabulation, analysis and publication of statistical data derived from these records.
