Hugo Lake
Hugo Lake is located on the Kiamichi River, and offers quiet, wooded campgrounds for tent sites operated by the Corps of Engineers, along with one state park. The large parks and miles of paved roads are ideal for hiking, jogging, cycling and horseback riding. Kiamichi Park contains several camp areas, swimming beach, equestrian camping area, marina and cabins. Four group camping sites are also available. Facilities at each site include a picnic shelter, electric/water hookups, restroom/shower and swimming beach. Great river access can be found with improved camping facilities at Rattan Landing. Variety of fish species can be found at Hugo Lake including sand bass, crappie and catfish. The Hugo Public Hunting Area contains 18,196 acres that offers excellent deer and duck hunting along with other game. For information about the lake, call (580) 326-3345.
