LAKE MURRAY
Lake Murray is a recreation lake located in Carter and Love County. It has 67 miles of shoreline. Facilities include boat ramps, enclosed fishing dock, campsites, camper parking, electrical hookups, picnic areas, grills, restrooms and group shelters. Additional amenities feature a marina, nature trail, swimming beach, showers, scuba diving opportunities, swimming pool, miniature golf, tennis courts, cabins, horseback riding, and boat rentals. ATV's 3 and 4 wheeler trail at Pear Orchard Motorcycle Use Area offers approx. 10 miles of marked trails. Dune buggies and other types of off-road vehicles are not allowed. Shoreline length: 67 miles.
