KERR LAKE

The Robert S. Kerr Reservoir is located in Sequoyah and LaFlore Counties about 8 miles south of Sallisaw.  It was constructed by the Corps of Engineers for navigation,  hydroelectric power and recreation.  It has 250 miles of shoreline.  Faciilties include boat ramps, picnic areas, campsites, restrooms, swimming beach, and electric hookups in some areas.  More Info (pdf)
