Shawnee Twin Lakes
Shawnee Twin Lakes are owned by the City of Shawnee. Amenities and recreation includes boat ramps, boat docks, fishing dock, tent campsites, picnic areas, grills, restrooms, playground, pavilion and group facilities. Fishing opportunities for bass, crappie, sandbass and channel cat. Fee charged for boating, camping or fishing at lake, available at headquarter office on site (Wed-Sun 7am-7pm). The two lakes are connected by a channel and offer 1,336 and 1,100 surface acres and 16 and 9 miles of shoreline.
Days/Hours Open: Lake open year round, camping available in early spring through Nov.
Directions: I-40 to Dale Exit, then 2 miles S and 1/4 mile W on Belcher Rd
