Lake Stanley Draper
Lake Stanley Draper is a water supply and recreation lake owned by the City of Oklahoma. Facilities include a boat ramp, concession area, boat and fishing docks, 4 covered fishing piers, primitive camping areas, picnic areas, grills and restrooms. Additional facilities feature a model airplane field, boat slips and dry storage, and marina. The city of Oklahoma City maintains a motorcycle and ATV (3 or 4 wheel) area on the north side of the lake. Also, an extensive trail system winds through this heavily wooded ORV area. Shoreline length is 34 miles, lake acreage is 2,900, average depth is 34 feet, and maximum depth is 98 feet. Activities: camping, hiking, picnicking, fishing, waterskiing, jetskiing, boating, and sailing. Waterskiing restricted to certain areas and swimming is prohibited. City and State permits are required for fishing and boating. (Call 297-2191 for a list of permit vendors.)
