Talawanda Lakes
Talawanda Lakes, number 1 and 2, are owned by the City of McAlester in Pittsburg County. Number 2 is a water supply lake and both 1 and 2 are recreation lakes. Lake 1 has three miles of shoreline and Lake 2 has four. Facilities include boat ramp, campsites, picinic areas, restroom, playgroud and group shelter.
