Tom Steed Lake
Tom Steed Lake lies on West Otter Creek northeast of Altus in Kiowa County. The area affords some of the best fishing in the southwest with catfish, crappie, bass and other species. More than 6,000 acres east and south of the reservoir are available for public recreation at Great Plains State Park, including boat ramps, picnic areas, designated campsites, group shelter, restrooms, showers, swimming beach, concession services, playground and nature trails.
