Webbers Falls Reservoir
Located on the Arkansas River in Muskogee County, the area is stunningly beautiful with flowering redbud and dogwood in the spring and the colorful foliage of hardwoods in the fall. There are five recreation areas on the lake and two downstream from the dam, all equipped with excellent facilities. The predominant species of fish are catfish, white bass, black bass, crappie, bream, walleye, sauger, striped bass, carp and buffalo. Opportunities are equally as promising for hunters with approximately 3,620 acres of land and 957 acres of water under management by the Department of Wildlife Conservation. Quail and rabbit are the most important species, but islands and natural marsh areas make the area attractive to many waterfowl. Facilities include boat ramps, picnic areas, two RV campgrounds (water/electric), group shelter, restrooms, showers, swimming beach, change house and electric outlets. Access/use fees may apply. Shoreline length: 175 miles.
